(new) Attention Boys Basketball families. The online store to order spirit merchandise is now open. Please go to the boy’s basketball website and click on logowear to enter the online store. The online store will be open until November 30. All boy’s basketball players are asked to purchase t= o the sleeveless undershirts in white and black for use on game days. If bo= ys are interested in purchasing a travel suit, they should order the EV-Tec version on the online store.

Seniors - Important College Application deadline information   =

Many colleges have application deadlines that are coming due v= ery soon. Tran= script Requests and all other supporting documents such as applications, recommendations, etc. should be submitted to the Guidance Office at least <= b>15 school days prior to the established deadline in order to guarantee on-time arrival. Check ALL applications for specific deadlines. Please make sure you have ordered your transcript(s) from Docufide and have sent your ACT scores by logging onto the ACT website at www.= act.org. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Gerrits in the Guidance Office. The following schools ha= ve specific deadlines.
UW-M= adison applications (deadline 2-01-10) must be submitted by January 7.

All colleges with January 1 deadlines must be submit= ted to Guidance Office by December 2, for timely processing.

Top = off your Thanksgiving weekend with the annual "Tip-Off Classic" at Eastview High School on Saturday, November 28, to introduce the Eastview Boy's Freshman, Sop= homore and JV/Varsity Basketball teams. Players from the EVAA In-House and Traveling teams will also take part in this event. Enjoy team scrimmages, shooting contests and more. A silent auction will start at 5:30pm with the event tipping off at 6:00pm. Raffle tickets will be available at the d= oor for a chance to win an Adrian Peterson autographed Vikings jacket or two lower-level tickets to an upcoming Timberwolves home game, along with a basketball autographed by Johnny Flynn and Wayne Ellington. There will also be an exclusive offer from the Timberwolves for those attending this event, and much more! Admission is free and all proceeds from the event will go to the Eastview High School boy's basketball program. Concessions will be available.

The = Girls' Cross Country team is selling Lightning logo socks again this ye= ar. They are great workout socks and make great stocking stuffers. A 3 pack is = $12. (new) If = you are a returning player or interested in playing Girls Lacrosse this coming season- please join us for an important meeting on Thursday December= 3 at 6:30 pm at Eastview Room C250. The new Head Coach Lauren DeZellar for the Girls Lacrosse program will be introduced and she will be talking about the upcoming season. This is a mandatory meeting for players and parents are encouraged to attend.

(new) Atte= ntion all Boys Swimmers and Divers - We will have a short team meet= ing today after school, at 2:35, in Room 329. Please be on time. The meeting should last about 10 minutes.

(new) Attention Eastview Volleyballers - If you are participating in Junior Olympics this winter & spring, join our strength training program starting tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2:45 outside of the Weight Room. Spread the word!

(new) There will be a mandatory Technical Theatre meeting immediately after school today in the PAC. This is for any student who has worked any amount of time on Annie. Annie performers are not needed.

Plea= se be sure to get your FCA Sweatshirt order form and checks into Mrs. C= ross in the Guidance Office or bring them to FCA next Monday night. For delivery by Christmas, we need to get the orders in by tomorrow. Order forms are available in the Guidance Office.

FCA<= /span> is collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. We’ve extended the deadline to drop off yo= ur shoe boxes today. If you are interested in putting together a gift bo= x to be given to children around the world, please get information and/or drop o= ff the boxes to Mrs. Cross in the Guidance Office.

The = Investment Club will hold a meeting tomorrowat 2:35 in Room C239. Information about companies discussed at the last meeting will be distributed. If you want to learn more about investing for your futur= e, come and join us. New members always welcome!

Do y= ou like to Ski or Snowboard? Do you attend EVHS? Want a ch= ange from Buck Hill, Highland and Welch? If so- sign up for the EVHS ski/ snowboard day trip up to Lutsen Mt. on the beautiful North Shore of La= ke Superior - Saturday, January 6. Registration is due by December 4 to Mr G in the B1 office.
