After advancing to the finals on Friday afternoon the Lightning Dance Team won the MSHSL Class AAA High Kick State Championship on Friday night at Target Center in front of a very enthusiastic and supportive crowd!  The team put on a flawless performance to distance themselves from their closest competitors. 

After once again qualifying for finals on Saturday afternoon, the Lightning Dance Team was back at it and took home third place honors in the MSHSL Class AAA Jazz/Funk competition on Saturday night.  Facing some of the best competition in the Jazz division in state history the girls added bronze medals to go with their gold medals from Friday.  This concludes yet another amazing and record setting season for their program.
